Hyderabad, Jan 6 (PTI) RV-VLSI Design Centre, a Bangalore-based finishing school for engineering professionals, will be setting up five finishing schools in Andhra Pradesh this year, a company official said today. "We would like to start five finishing schools in various cities in Andhra Pradesh during 2012 and also plan to set up more such schools in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Kerala," RV-VLSI CEO Venkatesh Prasad told reporters here. Talks are on with various institutes and universities in this regard, he said, on the occasion of launch of `Resume Builder', a free tool developed by the company to assist candidates ascertain their employability and job prospects in VLSI and embedded systems. The tool does an analysis of candidates' qualifications and capabilities, job potential, skills and also suggests improvement plans to fill the missing gaps, Prasad said. The tool will help the semiconductor industry gain access to well-trained and qualified engineers, Prasad added. PTI VVK KRK
