MOSCOW (Reuters) - Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday there was a growing "cult of violence" in the world and that Russia must not allow others to interfere in its affairs.

Talking about events in Syria and Libya at a meeting with Russian religious leaders, Putin said nations must not interfere in the domestic affairs of others.

"A cult of violence has been coming to the fore in international affairs. This cannot fail to cause concern ... and we must not allow anything like this in our country," he said.
