Rupee up 18 paise against dollar in early trade
Mumbai, Feb 8 (PTI) The rupee moved up by 18 paise to 49.02 against the dollar on the Interbank Foreign Exchange market in early trade today on increased foreign fund inflows. Dealers said increased foreign funds inflows and euro's gains against the US currency in the overseas market supported the rupee. The rupee had closed 15 paise down at 49.20/21 against the US currency yesterday. Meanwhile, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose by 59.93 points, or 0.34 per cent, to 17,682.38 in early trade.
