MARKETS-INDIA-RUPEE:Rupee opens lower on importer demand
MUMBAI (Reuters) - The rupee eased in opening trades on Thursday in anticipation of higher demand for dollars from oil importers.
At 9:01 a.m. (0331 GMT), the rupee was at 49.28/29 to the dollar, weaker than Wednesday's close of 49.22/23.
