Kohima, Feb 10 (PTI) Expressing serious concern over ever increasing migrants population in foot hills areas of Nagaland, chief minister Neiphiu Rio today admitted that there were difficulties in checking such influx under the present regulatory mechanism. Talking to newsmen on the sidelines of a function here, Rio said, "Since inner line regulation could be enforced in the hill sections of the state, such inflow of migrants were being regulated but the problem was in Dimapur and the foothills along Assam-Nagaland border areas. Rio said the state government informed both the union home ministry and the Assam government about the existence of AANLA camps in the disputed area belt (DAB) of Assam-Nagaland border, which the surrendered militants wanted to be converted into designated camps for them which the state government can not allow.
