Bahraich, Mar 1 (PTI) Rescue operations were being carried out by the district administration to trace the six missing persons after a boat capsized in Ghaghra river in Baundi area. Sixteen people were on the boat which capsized in the middle of the river last evening. Of the total, 10 swam to the river bank, whereas six others are still missing, District Magistrate Kinjal Singh said. Initially reports said that eight persons were missing. Divers of SSB and PAC are trying to trace the missing persons, she said. The DM said that though the boat had been recovered, it may take time to trace missing persons due to strong current. Meanwhile, local BSP MLA K K Ojha claimed that 22 persons were in the boat. PTI CORR AVA PG SG
