Dharamsala, Aug 14 (PTI) Almost every district of Himachal Pradesh was drenched by rains overnight even as there was no appreciable drop in the maximum temperatures. The heaviest rainfall of 164 mm was seen here followed by Kufri-64, Gaggal-53, Solan-44, Kasauli-37, Kheri-33 and Manali-31, the MeT department said. Rainfall occurred at Dharmpur-30, Bilaspur-29, Jogindernaga-25, Nurpur-21, Palampur-20, Una & Guler-19 each, Dalhousie-17, Mashobra & Bhoranj-16 each, Chamba-14, Nagrota Suriyan-13, Saloni and Dehra Gopipur-11 each. There was, however, no appreciable change in the maximum and minimum temperatures in the last 24 hours. The lowest temperature was recorded in Kalpa at 14.4 degrees C and the maximum in Una at 32.4 degrees C. Rain and thundershowers are predicted at most places in Himachal for the next five days.
