Bangalore, Feb 12 (PTI) A private complaint was filed today in the Lokayukta Court alleging illegal selling of land that belonged to Hindustan Machine Tools factory to private builders and companies, causing loss to the state exchequer. In his complaint, city (Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike) Corporator N Ramesh has alleged that 202 acres belonging to HMT factory was illegally sold to private builders and firms for pecuniary gain by 36 persons including M Siddartha, son-in-law of former Chief Minister S M Krishna, former HMT Chairman Javed and Congress leaders Motamma and D K Shivakumar causing a loss of Rs 3000 crore to the state exchequer. Judge N K Sudhindra Rao directed the complainant to produce the certified copies of the documents pertaining to the complaint by March four and adjourned the hearing to that date. PTI BH BN HU MAV
