Jhargram (WB), Feb 10 (PTI) By means of posters at public places in West Midnapore district the police today appealed seven top Maoist leaders to surrender and return to the mainstream society. The posters mention the names, designations and also carry photographs of the seven ultras urging them to leave the path of violence. The prominent names include Maoist's state secretary Akash, squad commander Bikash, his wife and Maoist leader Asim Mandal. The poster also has a mobile number where the ultras can call and seek help as to how to surrender. When contacted, additional SP (headquarters) Bharati Ghosh said, "The state government has already announced a rehabilitation package for surrender Maoists. We will give these Maoists the same package if they surrender". PTI CORR NIK
