From Rezaul H Laskar Islamabad, Feb 13 (PTI) Pakistan today rubbished as "baseless" reports that Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar had received an abusive call on her mobile phone from a man in Karnataka. "She did not receive any call. The media reports are baseless," Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit told PTI. He described the reports about Khar receiving an abusive call that lasted 15 minutes as "totally groundless". Reports in the Indian media had said police were investigating a man in Karnataka who allegedly made the call two months ago. The reports quoted officials as saying that the probe was launched after they received a complaint from Pakistani authorities. Khar, 34, was made Pakistan's Foreign Minister last year, becoming the youngest person and the first woman to hold the post.
