One dead, 30 injured in road accident near Ratnagiri

Ratnagiri, Jun 12(PTI) One person was killed and about 30 others injured, eight of them seriously, after a luxury bus overturned near Lanja on Goa-Mumbai highway in the district early today, police said. The driver of the bus lost control while negotiating a turn in the Veral ghat section resulting in the mishap,sources said. The injured were admitted to Ratnagiri Civil Hospital while some were later shifted to hospital in Kolhapur and Mumbai. PTI COR ABC HKS
