Guwahati, Apr 27 (PTI) Train services between Lumding and Silchar in Assam were disrupted since the wee hours today following derailment of seven oil tanker boggies of a goods train between the Langting and Hatikhali railway stations in the Dima Hasao autonomous district of Assam. The goods train was on its way from Lumding in Nagaon district to Badarpur in Barak Valley when it derailed damaging one and half km of track, N F Railway sources said here. Many trains including the Cachar Express and the Agartala Special were stranded at Maibang and Lower Haflong stations. Work on repairing the damaged portion of the track is on but it will take several hours before line clearance, sources said.
