Patna, Feb 18 (PTI) Bihar BJP president C P Thakur today said the central government should have consulted states before taking any decision about NCTC. "NCTC like system is very necessary at present, but the central government should take the consent from the states before setting up the NCTC," Thakur told reporters. "India has federal structure and therefore, it is necessary that the states be consulted before constitution of the NCTC," Thakur said. Tuling JD(U) Spokesman Sanjay Singh also spoke in the same vein. Singh said the NCTC issue was the latest example of the Congress-led UPA government attacking the federal structure of the country.
