Nashik, Feb 13 (PTI) The NCP today hit back at the MNS after its criticism of party leader Chhagan Bhujbal saying that the Raj Thackeray-led party had failed to check on heavy corruption in the local civic body. MNS, having 13 corporators in the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC), has failed to check on the heavy corruption in NMC during the five-year-term of Shiv Sena-BJP, said NCP MP from the city Sameer Bhujbal while addressing a public meeting here last night. MNS started 'goondaism' and created terror in the city with the help of its 13 corporators and three MLAs and is now maligning NCP's image, he added. MNS chief Raj Thackeray had yesterday lashed out at state PWD minister Chhagan Bhujbal saying that he was responsible for the growing crime rate in Nashik.
