Kohima, Feb 10 (PTI) Expressing concern over the increasing migrant population in the foothill areas of Nagaland, Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today admitted that there were "problems" in checking the influx under the present regulatory mechanism. Talking to newsmen on the sidelines of a function here, Rio said, "Since inner line regulation can be enforced in the hill sections of the state, such inflow of migrants are being regulated but the problem is in Dimapur and in the foothills along Assam-Nagaland border areas". Rio said the state government had informed both the Union Home Ministry and the Assam government about the existence of rebel camps in the disputed area belt (DAB) of Assam-Nagaland border.
