MP: Bank manager gets seven years in jail for fraud

Bhopal, Feb 8 (PTI) A special CBI court here today sentenced a former bank manager and six others to prison terms for fraudulent sanctioning of housing loans to the tune of over Rs 50 lakh. R S Iyer, who worked with Shahpur branch of Central Bank of India, was sentenced to seven years' prison. Others sentenced are M P Nayak, Dharmendra Parmar, Shakeel Ahmad, Kishan Sukhwani, Rajiv Singh and Kamlesh Jain. Their sentences range from six months to seven years. PTI AS KRK ZMN SRE
