Mother-daughter duo among four knocked down by train

Gwalior, Feb 20 (PTI) A woman and her minor daughter along with her two friends were killed when they were knocked down by a speeding train while crossing the rail track near here today, Railway Police said. The four were on their way to a temple on the occasion of Mahashivratri when they were hit by Kerala Express near Dabra station, they said. Sunita Sahu (35) along with her daughter Renu (10) and friends Sunita (32) and Padma (35) were crossing a rail bridge when they were hit. They fell into the water under the bridge. The people nearby immediately pulled them out from the water but they had died by then, police added.
