Nashik, Jul 19 (PTI) Rains have returned to the north Maharashtra district with the city receiving 6 mm of rainfall last night, met officials said today. The district has so far received 154 mm of rains since Sunday with Trimbakeshwar and Igatpuri recording 14 mm and 22 mm of rainfall, respectively, they said. However, with the monsoon still playing truant and the catchment area of dams in the district not replete with sufficient rainfall, the water cuts are there to stay, the Nashik Municipal Corporation officials have said.
