Agra, Feb 9 (PTI) A man, who allegedly killed his wife and minor daughter last November here, has been arrested from Patna, police said today. A police team from Agra nabbed Ekant from New Bengali Tola in Patna where he was living with his elder daughter, they said. Suspecting his wife of having an illicit relationship with another man, Ekant had allegedly killed Geeta and her younger daughter Aastha. He had fled the city taking the elder daughter along with him. The two bodies were recovered from the house on November 25. The police have obtained a transit remand for Ekant and brought him back to Agra. The accused has reportedly confessed to the crime. Deputy Inspector General of Police (Agra Range) Assem Arun has announced a reward for the police team. PTI CORR ASY
