Man gets 10 years RI for rape

Nawada (Bihar), May 18 (PTI) A local court today sentenced a man to 10 years rigorous imprisonment for raping a pregnant woman two years ago. The Additional Sessions Judge Rajiv Srivastava sentenced Rajiv Kumar, a native of Siur village, to 10 years RI after finding him guilty of raping a pregnant woman in the village on May 5, 2010. The man was caught by the villagers after the victim raised an alarm and handed over the police. Kumar fell unconscious in the court as soon as he heard the verdict.
