Bangalore, Feb 13 (PTI) A local court today directed police to conduct an inquiry into the porn viewing episode involving three ministers in the Karnataka Assembly. Acting on a private complaint filed by advocate Dharmapal Gowda, Additional City Metropolitan Magistrate court ordered the Sub-Inspector of Vidhana Soudha (State Secretariat) Police Station to investigate and submit a report by February 27. Lakshman S Savadi, C C Patil and J Krishna Palemar quit as Ministers on February 8 after they were caught on camera watching porn clippings on mobile phone during proceedings in the House. The three have sought one more week's time to reply to the showcause notices served on them by Speaker K G Bopaiah. Besides being barred from attending proceedings of the Assembly till a House inquiry committee submits report on March 12, they were also asked by Bopaiah to give an explanation by today. The porn scandal rocked both Houses resulting in their being adjourned sine die earlier than the scheduled date. PTI BH BN
