Kamal Haasan fans rush to Kerala theatres to watch film

Coimbatore, Jan 25 (PTI) Disappointed over the ban on the film Vishwaroopam in Tamil Nadu, fans of actor-director Kamal Hassan in the region have rushed to nearby Kerala, where the film was running to packed houses. The fans from the city had left by the available mode of transports to Palakkad, Velanthavalam and Shoranur to see the filmm police said. Some early birds got the opportunity to see the movie in Palakkad, 50 Kms from here in the morning, after which the screening was reportedly stopped following objection by a section of people, police said. However, they rushed to Velanthavalam, about 30 Kms from here, to watch the movie. PTI NVM RC
