Kalam bats for Green Revolution based on new techniques

Addressing the farmers at K D Singh Babu stadium here, the former President said that to meet future food requirement, there was a strong need to adopt new technique and new concepts leaving behind the old style. He said that the farmers "should become managers from patrons".

The former President highlighted equal education and right to children without gender discrimination, to save environment and to help in checking pollution. Earlier, he also attended the science congress organised at Sagar institute and interacted with the children.
