Bhadohi (UP), Feb 11 (PTI) Alleging there was no leader worth his salt in Uttar Pradesh, JD-U chief Sharad Yadav today said his party was out to clean up all the mess in the name of "netas" in the state. "There is no neta in the state. There is only "kachra" (garbage) in the name of netas here, which I am here to clean up with a "jhadu" (broom)", Yadav said addressing an election meeting here. Promising to do in UP what the party did in Bihar, Yadav said, "The way JD (U) ended Laloo's jungleraj in Bihar, the same way it will clean up the garbage in UP politics." Alleging that Congress had benefited Ambani brothers with over Rs two lakh crore, Yadav said the Rs 1.76 lakh crore 2G scam was gift of the UPA government to the nation. Taking a dig at Congress for its development plank in UP, he said it was strange the party had woken up to something so obvious after being at the helm for 45 years.
