Chennai, Feb 17 (PTI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today reviewed the prevailing power situation in the state in the backdrop of increased load shedding. She chaired a meeting attended by Electricity Minister R Viswanathan and TNEB Chairman and Managing Director Rajeev Ranjan among others, officials said. Various parts of the state are presently facing power cut running upto eight hours, drawing sharp criticism especially from opposition parties and protests from industries.
