Indefnite strike by jewellers in Bengal enters sixth day

Kolkata, Apr 2 (PTI) The indefinite strike by jewellers across West Bengal called to protest against increase in import duty, excise duty and service tax and customs duty on gold entered the sixth day. ''We will continue our strike till our demands are met and there has been no specific assurance to meet our demands as yet,'' according to Calcutta gem and jewellers welfare association president Ashok Begani.
