Chennai,Feb13 (PTI) Hatsun Agro Products has reported a 66 per cent jump on net profits at Rs 10.66 crore for the third quarter ending Dec31, 2011, compared to the year ago period. For the nine month period ending December 31, 2011, the net profits of the city based company engaged in dairy farming soared to Rs 23.77 crore as against Rs 17.38 crore registered during the same period of previous year. The net sales for the third quarter ending December 31, 2011 stood at Rs 404.56 crore as against Rs 340.36 crore. For the nine month period ending December 31, 2011, the net sales grew to Rs 1,170.47 crore from Rs 1,018.84 crore. The company's board at their meeting today declared a total interim dividend of Rs 1.10 (110 per cent) for equity share of Re one each for the current financial year, it said in a filing to the BSE.
