Ghaziabad, Feb 16 (PTI) With the arrest of three persons, police here today claimed to have cracked two murder cases, including that of the son a Patna-based retired district judge. "District police yesterday arrested Shajid, business partner of the victim Mazhar who worked as a financier and used to live in Khora Colony area," SSP Raghubir Lal said, adding that the accused has confessed to the crime. Mazhar had gone missing on 9th of this month when he had gone to drop his daughter to a Delhi-based school. His body was later recovered from Mundali village in Meerut district. A case was registered against the culprit in the Indirapuram police station. Meanwhile, with the arrest of key accused Zahiruddin and Shabir yesterday, Niwari police here claimed to have cracked the murder case of Abdul Kalam of Sara village of the district, who was found dead in September last year in Meerut. Kalam was allegedly having illicit relationship with the wife of his friend Zahiruddin, who hired Shabir to get him eliminated, police said.
