Govt relaxes age limit for unemployed Kashmiri migrants

Jammu, Jun 29 (PTI) Jammu and Kashmir government has relaxed upper age limit by three years as a one-time exception for unemployed Kashmiri migrants eligible for recruitment against available vacancies caused due to de-reservation of posts and non-joining of selected candidates. This has been done as part of a special dispensation made under the Prime Minister's package for return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri migrants to Kashmir Valley, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Raman Bhalla, said today. Interacting with the apex committee of Kashmiri migrants here, he said the decision has been taken by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who is keen to sort out the problems of Kashmiri migrants.
