Thrissur, Feb 15 (PTI): Gold ornaments, weighing about four kg was robbed when its was being transported in a taxi here last night, police said. Some unidentified persons intercepted the car in which the ornaments were being transported and attacked the driver before decamping with the valuables, police said. The ornaments manufactured at the S J Gold in the mission quarters in the city were on the way to the Railway station en route to Thiruvananthapuram when the vehicle was blocked by another car. The car driver, who was injured, has been hospitalised. PTI CORR UD
