Four charred to death as high voltage wire falls on village

Saharanpur, Jul 23 (PTI) Four persons, including three women, were today charred to death when a high voltage overhead power line snapped and fell in Samaspur Nagava village of the district. Several homes caught fire after the 11,000 high voltage tension wire fell at them, SHO Vikram Singh said. A post master Ishwar Dayal Gupta (59), Farzana (20), Nisha (40) and Rubi (35) were charred in the inferno, which engulfed several houses, he said. PTI CORR SHS
