Five security guards of Assam minister injured in accident

Guwahati, Nov 10 (PTI) Five security guards of Assam Water Resources Minister Rajib Lochan Pegu were injured when their vehicle collided with a dumper truck at Golaghat district of Assam, police said. The incident took place on the National Highway 37 near Dergaon when the minister's convoy was on its way from Jorhat to Guwahati. The driver of the pilot car of the convoy lost control over the vehicle which hit the dumper truck parked nearby. Five police personnel travelling in the car were injured, three of whom are stated to be in serious condition. All the injured have been admitted to the Jorhat Medical College. PTI PPB PR PAL
