Five police officials sacked

Gaya (Bihar), Feb 9 (PTI) The DIG (Magadh range) N H Khan today ordered dismissal of three assistant sub-inspectors of police and two sub-inspectors on the charge of corruption during their recent posting in Bihar's Gaya and Aurangabad districts. Khan said the state vigilance bureau had earlier trapped these police officials red-handed accepting bribe for bestowing undue favour. "We have sacked all these police officials", Khan said. The five officials are ASI Narangi Baitha, the then Hasanpura police station SHO Ajay Kumar Sinha, the then inspector of Gaya mufassil Shiv Kumar Prasad Sinha, the then ASI (Belaganj) in Gaya, Bindeshwari Pandey and ASI Nagendra Prasad.
