FIR lodged in Ghaziabad mosque explosion case

Ghaziabad, Jan 19 (PTI) The police has lodged an FIR against unknown persons in connection with the explosion at a mosque in Dasna area of the district on Monday night. The case was registered yesterday on the complaint by a local resident, SP (Rural) Jagdish Sharma said. The explosion, which was reported in the basement of Gazi Wali Masjid, had damaged the door and a few windows of the mosque and had led to cracks in some of its walls, he said. According to police, no one was injured in the incident. Samples collected from the site were sent to forensic laboratory at Agra to ascertain the exact nature of the blast. PTI Corr AGL AGL
