Muzaffarnagar, Feb 21 (PTI) A factory owner was allegedly shot dead by three unidentified motorcycle-borne men after he resisted their robbery attempt on Sardhana Canal road near here, police said today. Hazi Ayub (50) was on his way back home in the district after attending a marriage party when the incident took palce last evening, police said. Ayub refused to hand over ornaments which he was carrying following which they opened fire at him, injuring him seriously, they said. Though the victim was rushed to the hospital, he was declared brought dead, police said.
