Engineering student found dead in hotel room

Patna, Feb 11 (PTI) An engineering student of a Pune-based college has been found dead in a hotel room here, police said today. 21-year-old Harim Om alias Ravishankar Prasad, a resident of Bihariganj in Bihar's Madhepura district, died apparently after consuming poison, police said. The engineering student had checked into the hotel near Patna junction on February nine. The body has been sent to Patna Medical College Hospital for autopsy, they said, adding further investigation was on.
