Eighteen foreigners working at Yash Raj Studio set quizzed

Mumbai, Aug 1 (PTI) Eighteen foreign students from Pune were today picked up for allegedly working without proper permit at a Yash Raj Studios film set in suburban Andheri here, police said. "Eighteen foreign students studying in Pune were brought to the police station after a complaint from an NGO stating that they were working in a film at Yash Raj studios without permit," Harishchandra Vhatkar, senior inspector at Amboli police station told PTI. "We are verifying if the students, including some girls, were working at the set or had come here for any other purpose," Vhatkar said. In case of any visa violations, an appropriate action would be initiated against them, police said. The spokesperson of Yash Raj Studio was unavailable for comment.
