Poonch (JK), Feb 21 (PTI) Special Investigating Team (SIT) of Delhi Police today seized records of customs department in the border district of Poonch in connection with fake currency racket. Three members team headed by Sub-Inspector Vidya Dhar Singh arrived here in the morning and rushed to Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point, officials said. They seized records of customs department and other documents related to inter-border trade in connection with fake currency racket, they said. Two cross-border traders - Ghulam Ahmed of Surankote in Poonch district and Asgar Ali of Narwal area of Jammu district - were arrested by Delhi Police in connection with fake currency racket last month. J&K Police had arrested another person Mohammad Aslam and recovered fake currency with a face value of Rs 50,000 in Surankote belt of Poonch district in January.
