Thane, Feb 9 (PTI) The Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) of Congress and NCP will take action against rebel candidates of both the parties soon. This was stated by State Presidents of both the parties Manikrao Thackeray of Congress and Madhukar Pichad of the NCP after releasing the joint manifesto here last night. In reply to a question as to what the parties will do about the dissidents, both agreed action was necessary on them but it will not be taken immediately, they said. The first priority was to win the civic elections. The DAC will deliberate case by case and then suitable action will follow, they said. There are more than two dozen rebels from both the parties contesting the February 16 polls fighting their own party nominees.
