CPI-M urges J-K govt to make report on Minister's son public

Jammu, Feb 9 (PTI) CPI(M) today asked the government to make public the fact-finding report of the Crime Branch regarding the copying case of the Education Minister Peerzada Mohmmad Sayed's foster son. "The government should make public the fact-finding report of Crime Branch regarding the copying case of Education Minister Peerzada Mohmmad SayedÂ's foster son", CPI(M) State Secretary and MLA Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami said here today. J-K Police's Crime Branch submitted the report to Chief Minister Omar Abduallah yesterday, which concluded there were some irregularities in the anwsersheets of Education Minister Peerzada Mohammed Sayeed's foster son's Class 10 exam which he passed after it found two hand writings on them. The report said there were two hand writings on three answersheets of the Class 10 exam taken by the student, official sources said here. Imam Sauban, Peerzada Sayeed's son, had passed his Class 10 exam in 2009 allegedly with the help from Board of School Education officials. Meanwhile, BJP today decided to launch a district-level protest throughout the state demanding resignation of Education Minister Peerzada Mohd Sayeed in connection with irregularities detected by Crime Brnach in the answer sheets of Congress Minister's foster son's Class 10 exam. "Party has decided to launch district level protest throughout the state to demand resignation of Education Minister Peerzada Mohd Sayeed", State General Secretary Sat Sharma told reporters here today. Sayeed has been indicted in the exam scandal involving his son, he said adding that this decision was taken at a meeting held at party headquarters here today. Sharma said that all the District Presidents have been intimated to organise demonstrations dharnas and burning of effigies of the ruling coalition parties and the Congress minister involved.
