Cop thrashed

Rewari, Jun 23 (PTI) A police Inspector was allegedly thrashed by a youth following a verbal duel between them, a police spokemsan said here today. Inspector Suraj Bhan received injuries and was admitted to PGIMS, Rohtak, for treatment, he said adding the incident happened in Banjarwara area yesterday. The spokesman said Ravi, the youth, was reversing his car when it hit the Inspector's scooter leading to heated exchanges between them. The youth, who is absconding, allegedly thrashed the Inspector, he said adding a case had been registered in this connection.
