Araria, Feb 1 (PTI) The customs department has recovered contraband items, including 3.5 kg heroin, worth around Rs 20 crore in the international market, and foreign currencies from a train in Bihar's Araria district, an official said today. Acting on a tip-off, customs sleuths raided a general coach of the Delhi-bound Seemanchal Express last night and seized a box containing 3.5 kg heroin, ganja and bhang, besides currencies of Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Madagascar, the Assistant Commissioner (Customs) Jyotiraditya said. No arrest has been made in this connection as no passenger came forward to claim these items, Jyotiraditya said. Further investigation was on, he said. PTI CORR KDK CR MNS
