Siliguri (WB), Feb 11 (PTI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today asked Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi to look into the possibility of introducing Shatabdi Express trains between Kolkata and Siliguri. She said this after flagging off four trains at Bangdubi near Siliguri and also stressed on working jointly with the Railways for developing the region. Banerjee said work on axle factory will begin soon here and Rangpo-Sevak new rail line will be completed in the next three years at a cost of Rs 5000 crore as forest department clearance has been received. The foundation stone of the project was laid two years ago.
