Citigroup Inc has raised USD 1.95 billion by selling its entire stake in Housing Development Finance Corp at Rs 657.50 a share, three sources with direct knowledge of the deal said on Friday.
The transaction is the largest share sale this year in India and comes close on the heels of investors such as Carlyle paring their stakes in Indian companies after a surge in share prices in 2012.

The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 44.90 per share as per the quarter ended March 2016. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 24.49. The latest book value of the company is Rs 240.94 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company is 4.56.
