Thane, Feb 9 (PTI) A research officer attached to the Caste Verification Department of Konkan Bhavan was today arrested by Thane unit of Anti-Corruption Bureau for taking a bribe of Rs 5,000. Ashok D Pathare, the officer, had sought bribe for giving a caste validation certificate. The complainant had already given him Rs 35,000, but he had sought Rs 10,000 more, ACB said. PTI COR
