Burglary at retired army officer''s house

New Delhi, Feb 9 (PTI) Unidentified men broke into the house of a retired Army officer here and decamped with Rs 75,000 cash and two gold coins, police said today. The incident was reported from the house of Brigadier (Retd) Shyam Prashad on Babar Road in New Delhi's Bengali Market area early morning yesterday. Prashad and his wife were not at home when the incident occurred and it came to light when the wife returned home at around 10:30 am. The complainant claimed that the burglars decamped with Rs 75,000 and two gold coins. A case has been registered.
