Mumbai, Jan 13 (PTI) Future Group today said it has roped in BMC Software to standardise and automate its infotech and delivery processes on a single platform. "It is imperative for us to standardise our processes across different business units to increase efficiency and enhance the customer experience. This will enable us to monitor and automate business applications and have a complete view of business service performance and availability, including service levels, usage patterns, assets and costs in a proactive manner," Future Group chief information officer Parakh Dave said in a statement. The solution will support over 1,000 stores, including Big Bazaar, Pantaloon, Central, Brand Factory, Ezone and Home Town, across 85 cities. "This marks our foray into the retail sector, where the speed, volume of information and business present challenging environments to manage. Our BSM solution will provide well defined steps to help Future Group achieve its business goals, supported by a robust infotech infra," BMC Software sales director Sachin Chawla said.
