BJP has expanded base in J-K, says South Delhi Mayor

Jammu, Oct 27 (PTI) The BJP has expanded its base in Jammu and Kashmir and party policies have generated a positive response from the people, Jammu-born South Delhi Mayor Savita Gupta today said. "The party is getting strengthened in the state with the each passing day and it is my dream that BJP comes to power in Jammu and Kashmir soon," Gupta said at a function organised by BJP in Rehari area here to felicitate her. Issues related to Jammu and Kashmir are frequently discussed at New Delhi and the BJP is committed to the cause of creating a better living environment in the state, she said. On the occasion, BJP state president Shamsher Singh Manhas presented shawl, bouquet and idol of Mata Vaishno Devi to Gupta. PTI AB KAS
