From Lalit K Jha Washington, May 25 (PTI) Justifying prosecution of Shakil Afridi, a doctor who helped CIA in finding Osama bin Laden, Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said it is against the law in any country to cooperate with foreign intelligence. "As far as Dr Afridi is concerned, it is against the law in any country to cooperate with foreign intelligence. I mean look what happened to ...here in the US where a court sentenced him to life imprisonment for spying for Israel. We have an independent judiciary which the Pakistan People's Party restored. I have no control over their outcome," Bilawal told the CNN in an interview. When asked "you understand the outrage here that someone who helped US, killed bin Laden who killed 3,000 Americans, you understand the outrage of what's going on right now?", the young leader said "Yes, I do appreciate the outrage." Bilawal said it was really unfortunate that US-Pak relationship has deteriorated so much over the past year. "We have weathered a series of crises, from Raymond Davis fiasco where a CIA agent shot and killed two innocent Pakistan civilians on the streets of Lahore, to the Abbottabad raid, to the NATO attack at Salala that left 24 Pakistani soldiers dead which did not result in an apology, but I am confident that we will work together to resolve our issues because we have a common goal, a common aim which we must achieve together," he said. Son of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto said the safe house in Abbottabad where Osama bin Laden lived before he was killed was a perfect place to hide and claimed that no one in the top Pakistani military and political leadership knew about his existence. "He (bin Laden) was hiding in plain sight. It was the perfect place to hide," he said. "The US found a treasure trove of evidence in the Abbottabad compound. Not a single piece of evidence was found to suggest that there was any link between al Qaeda or Osama bin Laden and the ISI, the Pakistani army or the Pakistani government," he argued. The Pakistani Government, he said, has formed the Abbottabad Commission which is looking into this and will come to with the truth.
