Raipur, Feb 11 (PTI) A girl, a second-semester MCA student at Rungta College, Bhilai (district Durg, Chhattisgarh) has been found murdered. Amit Kumar, a second year student of Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology, at present absconding, was the main suspect, said Durg Superintendent of Police, O P Pal. According to the police, Amit was friends with the victim girl, Neha Sahu. On Friday evening, Amit's friend, Pankaj Giri, informed the police that he found Neha's dead body in his room. Pankaj told police that Amit had asked to use his room that morning. Pankaj handed him the key, and himself left for Rajanandgaon. Upon return, he found Neha's body inside the room. He also told the police that Neha and Amit were friends. The SP said there were injuries to the side of Neha's head. In addition, there were traces of adhesive tape on her face. While police are looking for Amit, post mortem report is awaited.
